We continue to collect points under the management of Oskars Klava. This time in the 33rd round of Virslīga we traveled to Daugavpils for a match against BFC Daugavpils who have been in the middle of the table for the whole season.
Lineup for the match: Veisbuks (GK), Skrebels, Kramēns, Terekhov, Grauds, Markhiyev, Laizāns (C) (Ļotčikovs 90+3'), Hvoiņickis (Krancmanis 58'), Zekhov (Rogovs 90+4'), Asamoah (Solovjovs 90+1') and Leo Gaucho.
We started the game slow with only one shot on target in the first half. Daugavpils opened the score in the 31st minute and the first half ended with them having a one goal lead.
Kļava found the right words in the dressing room and we controlled the most of second half. Daniils Hvoiņickis was substituted for Artūrs Krancmanis in the 58th minute and it took 10 minutes for Krancmanis to score his first goal for our club.
We had a few more chances but the game ended with a 1-1 draw which gives us a one point lead over ninth place FK Metta who we will face next Saturday in our final home game of the season.
