FK "Spartaks" Jūrmala have spent the last 4 days in Rēzekne and will remain in the cultural capital of Eastern Latvia till their match-day 10 meeting with BFC "Daugavpils" on the 5th of May.

The team has been hard at work for the past four days, to better prepare for their key match with BFC "Daugavpils", who currently are forth in the Optibet Virslīga standings with 10 points, 3 of which came courtesy of FK "Spartaks" in the season opener on March 13th.  This result at the time was considered an upset, but the East Latvia side have shown, that they are a club to be reckoned with every time they take to the pitch this year.

The team left for Rēzekne at full strength in good spirits and are hard at work to keep this good form going after handily beating newcomers FC "Noah", who showed some signs of life against one of the top clubs in recent years - FK RFS.

This stretch of games will be crucial for FK "Spartaks", who will face FK "Metta" on May 9th, as these two games can propel the teams hopes of qualifying for European competition next season and this mini-camp in Rēzekne provides both players and coaching staff plenty of time to prepare for these important matches and to build better team cohesion on the pitch, which was one of the main issues in the first leg of the season in the words of FK "Spartaks" manager Marek Zub.
