After wining the third division title in the first year of clubs existence, the club started the 2008 season in 1.Līga. With 9 wins, 6 draws and 13 loses, the club finished the season in 11th place with 33 points, avoiding relegation by 15 points.

Biggest wins of the season were the 4-0 home win against Zibens Zemessardze and the second game of the season: 5-1 win against Abuls.
